About Us
Janet Green started her business Gabby Girl in 2003 while working a full time job. She was guided along the way by two friends Jen and Carolyn ( Carolyn is Jen's mother). Janet started making jackets, handbags and pillow made from vintage printed tablecloths. The first year she was selling them at antique shows in northern California.
When the old post office building became available Janet jumped at the chance to open her own little store. That was in Oct. 2004 and was only open Sat. and Sun.
As of March 2007 Janet has given her full time job up and is spending most of her time at Gabby Girl.
Janet still makes jackets handbags and pillows along with special orders when she is not working at the store.
If you have not had a chance to stop by Gabby Girl then you will be in for a treat when you do. There are things for the garden, aromas for the nose and lots of fun things for the eyes. This is a great place to get an unusual gift for someone. She even has local artist items displayed around the shop.
The store is now open Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday year round. 10am to 5pm
